As a bakery supervisor you have a very important job in our bakery. You are one of the bakery leaders and are responsible for the smooth running of the bakery and ensuring our customers are getting the best possible quality products. You are responsible for the daily operations of the bakery and ensuring compliance to Ou Meul standards of perfection in all areas: prep, sculler, cleaning, refuse, storage, staff management. List of responsibilities and duties including, but not limited to:Full knowledge of all our products, recipes and ingredientsDetailed knowledge of company rootsExcellent knowledge of recipes and proceduresEnsure compliance of all checklists and proceduresEnsure compliance of all hygiene proceduresExcellent knowledge of health and safetyExcellent knowledge on how to control wasteEnsuring stock is checked, signed and stored timeouslyEnsuring first aid procedures are adhered toEnsure equipment is managed properly and that all equipment has a record of usageEnsuring the bakery is kept clean and tidyFull knowledge of production proceduresEnsure all invoices are capturedEnsure accident or relevant incidents are reported to managementEnsure the correct recipes and procedures are followedEnsure equipment is serviced and operationalThe ability to run variance and wastage reports and come up with action plans accordinglyDaily planning and delegating to members of the bakery teamFull knowledge of ordering procedures that include daily and weekly PAR levelsEnsure the staff on shift are aware of their duties, responsibilities and that these duties are completed timeously, efficiently and correctly. Issues are to be dealt with quickly and effectively, keeping in mind always the importance of customer satisfactionHave a good idea of how rosters work in order to have staff perform specific duties effectively, if there is need to draw up a rosterStock take procedures must be completely understood and carried out correctly.Manage and rotate stock to preserve freshness as far as possible
