**Type**: Permanent

**Job description / core competencies**:
Identifying new opportunities for both existing and prospective customers.

Product-related training of branch staff.

Market analysis and formulating campaigns to gain market share.

Logistical planning and support with suppliers and company branches.

Manage and monitor Excess, Short dated stock.

Ensure healthy margins by updating the pricing schedule. Review exception report on Margins and report back on queries.

Network with Sales / Branch network.

Handle queries / suggestions raised.

Communication on specified suppliers and products and report back to manager.

**Location**: Western Cape, South Africa

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Tertiary sales qualification will be advantageous.

Experience: Minimum 5 years’ Key Account Sales & technical industry experience in the Fasteners and Tool and Equipment Industry is essential.

**Skills**:Possess excellent verbal and writing skills.

Valid drivers’ license.

Must be computer literate (MS Office - PowerPoint & Excel).

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

Timely, well organized and deadline driven.

Exceptional selling skills and with good communication.
