A lovely family is looking for an Au pair for their 2 children

**Area**:Gardens, WC

**Children’s Ages**:2 years and 5 years (Developmental Coordination Disorder)
- 5 year old has DCD - Developmental Coordination Disorder - and finds any form of motor planning extremely difficult. As a result, school is hard for her and she has yet to master any form of planning, pencil holding, drawing etc. She is in a lot of therapies every week to assist her: speech, OT, play therapy, physio, swimming. She requires some assistance in reinforcing activities she’s learning at school and her therapies to assist her in progressing through school

**Working hours**:Full day availability, but actual work hours:
Monday: 08:00 - 15:00

Tuesday: 07:30 - 9:00 and 13:00 - 15:30

Wednesday: 12:00 - 15:00

Thursday: 12:00 - 16:00

Friday: 11:30 - 14:30

**School holiday hours**:Same/Similar to above

**Duties**: Take to school in the mornings, Collect from school, Take to extra-murals, reinforcing activities the child is learning at school and her therapies to assist her in progressing through school, Run general family errands, Grocery shopping on your behalf, Engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, Occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement), Travel with the family

**Special Requirements**:Age 21 to 25, Female, English Speaking, special needs experience / ECD qualification or studies required. Preferably living within 15-20 min drive of Higgovale area (eg: Atlantic Seaboard, Milnerton, Pinelands, Claremont, CBD) Needs to be patient, kind and friendly

**School**: TBC

**Start Date and contract term**: September - permanent

**Offered Salary**:
**R13 000pm** plus SARS rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child-caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

**Must have a clear criminal record

**Must have a passion for children

**Must have Matric

**Must have a South African ID document.
