Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Tax Manager to develop, implement and own thetax strategy and be responsible for all direct and indirect tax matters.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating and implementing a tax strategy to manage all tax matters.
- He/She is required to oversee and ensure the accurate submission of all returns as well as ensure that all tax risks are mitigated.
- The Tax Manager is responsible for coordinating the income tax audits.
- Internal Liaison takes place with the finance team and payroll.
- External liaison takes place with 3rd party consultants as well as the tax authorities.

- Leading knowledge and understanding of practical impact of relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Sound understanding of the business value chain and its macro PESTEL environment (political, economic, social, technological, environmental, and legal)
- Effective financial analysis skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions based on the information at hand.
- Exceptional administrative abilities with the ability to manage, coordinate and monitor.
- Advanced organisational, project management and time management skills.
- Effective customer service skills to enhance strategy development to improve the overall customer experience.
- Proven management and social influence skills resulting in high employee engagement levels and an improved performance culture for the unit.
- Exceptional communication skills that ensures that information (verbal and written) is conveyed clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- A Higher diploma in Tax or equivalent related qualification is essential to this role.
- Registered as a Chartered accountant is preferable.
