**Role overview**:
The TooMuchWifi (“Company”) Field Technician is responsible for technical Air Fibre installations in our underserved communities for our new customers, and for doing maintenance when required for our existing customers. This role presents a unique and exciting opportunity to join and grow within a fast-paced Internet Services Provider Company that offers affordable and reliable internet connectivity to underserved communities within South Africa.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Field Technician reports to the Field Operations Manager and is responsible for:

- Completing daily installations for our new customers, and maintenance callouts for our existing customers as per the Company’s schedule.
- Ensuring installations meet the quality standards and reporting requirements of the Company.
- Support the installation team with the daily collection, management and safe handling of tools and equipment.
- Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are always adhered to.
- Report any concerns or incidents to the Line Manager immediately.
- Consistently achieve (or exceed) Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
- Adhere to all the Company’s policies, standards and procedures.

**Minimum Qualification Required**
Matric. Any technical qualifications will be an advantage with contactable references.

**Relevant Skills / Experience**
- Wireless / DSTV installation experience will be an advantage.
- Telecommunications industry or internet service provider (ISP) will be an advantage. (Preferably within the wireless industry)
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a sense of ownership and accountability.
- Flexible and able to meet the needs of the Company and its customers.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent time management.
- Own cellphone, valid driver’s license and reliable transport required.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: From R80,000.00 per year
