Sales Assistant/stylist

1.1. The Employee’s job title shall be stylist/salesperson at The Designer Warehouse, Thavhian Mall and is to be carried out as such but not limited to the job description

1.2. The employee is expected to be on the floor with sales, assist customers, deliver quality service, be hospitable and offer customers tea/coffee/food, assist cashiers un-tag and clean up his work-station after he completes a sale and if there are no other customers to attend to

1.3. The Employee agrees that the Employer may, in its sole discretion, require the Employee to perform any reasonable duties. The Employee’s job title does not define or restrict his duties and responsibilities and he may be required to undertake other work within his ability and any refusal to comply will constitute a breach of the employment contract and disciplinary action may be taken

1.4. The employee is also expected to process transactions and when possible assist customers, delivery quality service, be hospitable and offer customers tea/coffee/food

1.5. The relevant sales person is to assist the cashier un-tag and clean up his/her work station after he/she completes a sale and if there are no other customers to attend to

1.6. The Employee agrees that the Employer may, in its sole discretion, require the Employee to perform any reasonable duties. The Employee’s job title does not define or restrict his duties and responsibilities and he may be required to undertake other work within his ability and any refusal to comply will constitute a breach of the employment contract and disciplinary action may be taken

1.7. The employee will be responsible and personally liable to pay for any discrepancies should sale amounts not tally with amounts banked or deposited. This includes but does not limit to:
1.7.1. Too little money being collected on either cash or card;
1.7.2. Undercharging a customer for an item; and

1.7.3. Money missing in the till

The employer reserves the right to search any employee of concealing property other than their own

Contract length: 1-3 months

Pay: R4 900,00 - R5 300,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thohoyandou, Limpopo: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
