Junior Payroll Associate

**Payroll Preparation**: Execute the full cycle of payroll processing for diverse clients, including salary calculations, deductions, and benefit allocations. Stay updated with the latest payroll software and technologies.
- **Payroll Review**: Meticulously review payroll records for accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Identify and rectify discrepancies in payroll records.
- **Client Consultation**: Provide expert advice and consultation to clients on payroll-related matters, helping them understand complex payroll tax laws and regulations.
- **Report Generation**: Prepare and submit various payroll reports, including tax filings, year-end reports, and custom reports as per client requests.
- **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with the accounting and tax teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive financial services to clients.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Stay abreast of changes in payroll tax laws and regulations, implementing necessary updates in payroll processes to ensure compliance.
- **Problem Resolution**: Address and resolve payroll-related queries and issues from clients, providing high-quality customer service.
- **Process Improvement**: Continuously seek ways to streamline and improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- **Training and Development**: Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current in the field and provide the best service to clients.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years experience in payroll preparation and review
- Strong knowledge of payroll software, accounting principles, and federal/state payroll regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.
