**We are looking to appoint a dynamic, passionate and visionary Learning Support/Remedial educator, some of the responsibilities include**:

- Creating and updating Individual Support Plans, and all resource to execute and develop the individual learners’ skills according to the ISP.
- Advising and supporting educators to support struggling learners in the classroom.
- Administration of and reporting to the Department of Education.
- Administering Admission Assessments for new applicants to Jacaranda College.

The official language of learning and instruction is English. We are a wholly independent school, registered with all the relevant educational authorities.
- B.Ed. OR PGCE with a relevant degree
- B.Ed Honours (Learning Support or Educational Psychology)
- Grades 3 to 7 learning support, intervention, remedial learning OR relevant experience - no less than 2 years
- Valid SACE registration and police clearance
- The capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a high-expectation, driven environment, self-managing, while supporting a rapidly growing independent school focussed on excellence in education, individualised learning and 21st century instruction methodologies
- Excellence in English (use; spoken and instructional proficiency at home language level), pedagogical and instructional-delivery competencies
- Effective and successful individual support management strategies using varied teaching styles, differentiation, active learning principles and positive discipline methodologies
- Energy and drive to support a strong management team with clear business management objectives
