Applications are invited for the **Permissions Agent (Fixed term contract) **position to be based in **Worcester - Western region.**

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
The Permission Agent is responsible for obtaining permissions from private and business property owners to plant poles used in the distribution and installation of fibre optic cables on private and business properties.

**Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to**:

- Obtain written briefs or verbal confirmation of approvals from private homeowners and business premises owners to allow the planting of poles, on their properties, which will ensure a successful aerial deployment project.
- Be actively involved in promotional activity within the installation area.
- Be actively involved in awareness campaigns within the project deployment area.
- Distribute project-specific advertising material (pamphlets, leaflets, advertising boards) within the project deployment area at least 2-weeks prior to installation commencement.
- Set-up and configure and continuous use of daily work tools (google maps)
- Work with Project Manager / Permission Specialist to plan permission route priorities
- o Ensure that all special requirements are listed, and that PM's and Site Managers are informed of any special conditions.
- o Ensure that all site information is captured on Google Maps and adjust colours to suit the correct permission outcome (Orange = Approved / Maroon = Pending - call later / Black = No etc). This can differ from project to project and must be clarified with the PM / Site Manager.
- Explain the Planting Process to clients
- Discuss Fibre specials that are available to the home and business owners when granting approval.
- Plan and schedule the planting of poles with the home and business premises owner and inform PM and Site manager (only if specific requests in this regard are made)
- To enhance long term client relationships via effective image-building and client communication.
- Proactively contribute ideas for the improvement of permission-obtaining strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide quality service to clients.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
- Consistently complying with all company policies and procedures.
- At least 1 year of Marketing and Sales or Civil Project Deployments experience.
- Experience in the Telecommunications Sector will be an advantage.
- Able to travel to other provinces and towns if needed.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in project roll-out and deployment planning and budgeting will be an advantage.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have good sales skills.
- Must have problem solving aptitude.

**Education Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Marketing and Sales qualifications could be an advantage.
