Analyst - Group Data Privacy and Protection

The NTT Group Data Privacy and Protection Analyst reporting into the NTT Group Data Privacy and Protection Director, will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation and oversight of the Data Privacy and Protection (DPP) program across NTT’s global business. The NTT Group Data Privacy and Protection Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure that appropriate controls across people, process and technology are put in place to support compliance with data protection laws and regulations, industry standards and NTT’s global DPP policies.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Support the NTT Group Data Privacy and Protection Director to embed NTT’s DPP policies, processes, and standards by working closely with stakeholders from across the business.
- Perform data protection impact assessments to support the identification and mitigation of risks to individuals when we process their personal data.
- Perform third party information security and privacy assessments to ensure that NTT’s third parties have appropriate controls in place to comply with applicable DPP laws and regulations and NTT’s DPP policies.
- Work with stakeholders across the business to ensure that the record of processing (including data flows and cross-border data transfers) is documented, accurate, complete, and up to date for all processing activities.
- Support the NTT Group Data Privacy and Protection Director in project managing DPP requirements of new initiatives/projects
- Document and assess DPP risks in the business and develop strategies to manage or mitigate them.
- Support the NTT Group Data Privacy and Protection Director in the investigation, response, resolution, notification, and closure of personal data breaches in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations and NTT’s DPP policies and processes.
- Monitor and report on the implementation and effectiveness of DPP controls across the business.
- Support the NTT Group Data Privacy and Protection Director in advising the business on its DPP obligations.
- Monitor developments in global data protection laws and regulations, understand the impact for NTT and recommend appropriate mechanisms to support ongoing compliance.
- Maintain your technical expertise by keeping abreast of developments in DPP, participating in industry forums and undertaking continual training and development.

- Firm grasp of DPP concerns, best practices, and industry standards.
- Deep knowledge of global data protection laws and regulations including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Operates with a high degree of integrity.
**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree
- CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CISM (preferred)
**Required Experience**:
- 2+ years’ relevant work experience in DPP program management, processes, practices, technologies, risk management, audit, or compliance.
- Experience in advising on complex data protection matters with practical advice
- Experience in risk management activities and practices (preferred).
- Experience in working with or advising large, multinational organizations.
- Experience in working on compliance projects.
- Experience in telecommunications, technology and/or professional services (preferred).
- Experience with OneTrust, Oracle Eloqua, Salesforce, Workday, Success Factors (preferred).
