Intern Draughtsman

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our team and contribute to the creation of detailed technical drawings and plans. As a Draughtsman, you will work closely with engineers, architects, and designers to transform conceptual ideas into precise drawings that adhere to industry standards and specifications.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Interpret rough sketches, specifications, and other input from engineers, architects, and designers to develop accurate drawings.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Make revisions to drawings as necessary based on feedback and design changes.
- Generate bills of materials and other documentation as required.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and visual aids for client meetings.
- Maintain organized files and records of all drawings and related documents.
- Stay current with advancements in CAD technology and techniques.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve overall design quality.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Draughtsman or similar role in a related industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing creation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- A degree or certification in drafting, engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
