**Minimum Requirements**:

- A PhD degree in Pure Mathematics
- Teaching experience at tertiary level.
- Research experience supported by a publication record in DHET accredited journals.

**Added Advantage**:

- Evidence of attracting research funding.
- Supervision of post-graduate students.
- NRF rating

**Duties**:

- Teach undergraduate courses in Mathematics and any other courses assigned to you by the Head of Department.
- Participate in regular recurriculation of modules or programme reviews.
- Develop research within the areas of Group Theory and Fuzzy Group Theory.
- Attract research funding.
- Supervise BSc Honours, MSc and PhD students.
- Participate in community engagement.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
