Metering Assistant, A3

**Introduction**

Are you a self-starter? Midstream Electrical Supplies, south of Centurion is seeking a temporary Metering Assistant with a basic working understanding of electricity.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid vehicle driver’s license
- Valid motorbike driver’s license (preferred)
- Knowledge of electricity metering configuration (advantage)
- Basic understanding of electricity, specifically to kWh and KVA
- Computer literacy (Outlook, Word and Excel)

**Job Specification**
- **Commissioning (**_Residential)
- Assist with residential and commercial meter commissioning as requested.

**Billing run (**Residential & Commercial)
- Assist with specific zone manual readings as requested.
- Assist with maintenance on site if necessary / possible.

**Maintenance**
- Assist with daily checks for faults per minisub on Synapses.
- Document maintenance recurring more than three times.
- Draw stock from warehouse and assist with resolving hardware problems.
- Assist with resolving of problems in case of communication.
- Keep tools and equipment in good condition.
- Conduct toolbox and vehicle inspection.
- Clean company vehicle.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: R6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
