Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) **Service Manager - Field and Support H/F** basé(e) : Afrique du sud

**Description du poste**:
An exciting position is available for a qualified and experienced Service Manager to join the Service Department within AMS.

Skilled employees without managerial experience and/ or Junior Management staff will also be considered e.g. experienced Technician/ Workshop Foreman.

Travelling to African countries as and when required (+- 50% travel/ 50% office-bound)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To assist with an aligned strategy and implementation of standardized operational improvements across Africa, to promote and increase customer satisfaction and retention.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Research to better understand the business environment.

2. Conduct budget and cost management within the service department.

3. Assist with innovative strategy development to remain ahead of the competition with new customer and business development.

4. Assist with strategy development and implementation to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.

5. Assist with the development and implementation of suitable marketing plans for relevant service departments.

6. Travelling to responsible distributors across Africa to provide operational support.

7. Support the planning and coordination of Cross Regional Units.

8. Support new business plan development and new facility layout planning.

9. Assist with the procurement of general tools, equipment, etc.

10. Ensure compliance to operational OEM and distributor requirements.

11. Conduct appraisal of skills and provide applicable certification.

12. Ensure Health and Safety projects are introduced and implemented.

13. Assist with the development of Human Resource administration/ activities for these distributors.

14. Give regular feedback of the service performance and assist with recommendations for improvement.

15. Implement Fix It Right activities, monitor progress and report results.

16. Support resolution of complicated diagnostic challenges with the required repair systems and guidelines.

17. Monitor and encourage the completion of Special Service Campaigns and training/ dealer programs.

18. Monitor and assist with the improvement of the Field Technician reporting quality.

19. Implement efficient parts and service supply chain activities.

20. Assist with the development and implementation of efficient after sales and promotional campaigns.

21. Give warranty training according to policy and procedures.

22. Monitor the warranty errors and implement corrective actions.

23. Conduct annual warranty labour rate reviews; increase requests; and report results to management.

24. Assist with distributor performance management on real-time reporting and submission.

25. Maintain detailed trip reports and provide feedback to management describing current state and improvement plans.

26. Any ad hoc responsibilities, as and when required.

**Profil recherché**:
MINIMUM EXPERIENTIAL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Computer literate.
- Qualified Technician.
- Tertiary qualification (Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree) beneficial within Marketing/ Business Management/ similar.
- Experienced Service Manager/ similar (Skilled/ Junior Management employees will also be considered).
- Budgeting and forecasting knowledge/ experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
