Carpenter

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Selecting the appropriate materials and tools for each task
- Cutting materials down to size, as per specifications
- Proper planning to ensure that our products are completed on time
- Gathering the elements of each casket and assembling the final product
- Inspecting each completed item to ensure that it has been constructed accurately, and that the necessary finishes have been applied

Required qualifications and experience:

- Matric or equivalent qualification (N3 or similiar)
- Carpentry Trade Certificate
- Prior experience as a Carpenter
- Previous experience in spray-painting furniture/caskets
- Previous experience in working with carpentry materials
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of construction
- Proficiency in using electrical, manual equipment and measurement tools
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising workmanship.

**Salary**: R8,500.00 - R14,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Benoni, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
