Implement and maintain internal controls that mitigate business risk whilst complying to policy and procedures
Required to be flexible in terms of taking up different tasks within a project or work
Willing and able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time - international
Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes
Create and update management and technical documents in Confluence.
Standby, shift work and public holiday work required from time to time.
Documenting known errors and resolutions in the solution database
Preparing User / How-to Manuals and conducting training to other Team Members
**Minimum requirements**:
IT Degree and/or relevant qualifications / 5 years + of experience
Linux Administrator Certification
Programming certification
Basic enterprise IT network know-how including network security (firewalling)
**Experience with firewall rule management tools (preferred**: Tufin )
Solid Linux skills
Basic enterprise IT network know-how including network security (firewalling)
**Programming skills (preferred**: Python)
ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management)
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
**Beneficial skills**:
Experience with IT orchestration & automation solutions (e.g. Rundeck, Ansible )
Skills in further programming language (e.g. JavaScript)
Operational Management duties such as long-term planning to create initiatives that further the overall goals
Self-starter
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation
Agile Working methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban )
Experience in IT provider steering
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users
Proper release management process and procedure knowledge
Should be willing to deal with (talk to) our customers. In most cases they will be foreign customers and language barriers might exist
Ability to work as part of a team, inter dependant as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality
Ability to handle any situation and work under pressure.
