Content Creator

**Responsibilities**:
**Content Creation**
- Develop Original Content: Craft engaging content, tailored to the needs of South African consumers.
- Video Production: Script, film, and edit video content for platforms like YouTube, TikTok and reels. *Must be comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
- Graphic Design: Design visual content such as social media graphics, banners, and brochures that are visually appealing and on-brand.
- Photography and Image Editing: Capture and edit images to complement text content and enhance social media posts and other marketing materials.

**Content Strategy**
- Content Planning: Contribute to the content strategy by planning content calendars, brainstorming content ideas, and identifying opportunities for new content initiatives.
- Audience Engagement: Develop content aimed at engaging target audiences, encouraging interaction, and fostering a community around the brand.

**Content Management**
- Publishing: Manage the scheduling and publishing of content across various channels, ensuring consistent and timely delivery.
- Content Updating: Regularly review and update existing content to ensure relevance, accuracy, and SEO effectiveness.
- Analytics: Monitor content performance using analytics tools to gauge engagement, reach, and effectiveness, and adjust strategies accordingly.

**Collaboration and Communication**
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with team members to ensure content supports overall marketing strategies and campaigns, focusing on lead generation and brand awareness.
- **Feedback Incorporation**: Use feedback from clients and team members to refine and improve content, making it more relevant and impactful for your target audience.
- **Trend Awareness**: Stay up-to-date with content trends, social media trends, and advancements in technology that can enhance content creation and distribution.
- **Marketing Support**:Provide assistance to the marketing team with various tasks as required, contributing to broader marketing strategies and campaigns.

**Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes Required**:

- **Bilingual Proficiency**:Fluent in both English and Afrikaans, with strong communication skills in both languages.
- **Content Creation Skills**: Proven experience in creating engaging video content, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
- **Technical Expertise**: Proficient in content creation tools and software, including video editing, and photography equipment.
- Canva / Adobe Creative Suite
- **Creativity and Innovation**: Ability to generate fresh, appealing content ideas that resonate with target audiences.
- **Team Collaboration**: Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- **Brand Awareness**: Understanding of brand identity principles and ability to maintain consistency across various media platforms.
- **Adaptability**: Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
