**Function**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and vibrant individual with a positive can do attitude and join our dynamic Sales & Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing the successful incumbent will be required to perform related administrative and operational support to the Sales & Marketing team whilst maintaining the quality and standards of the Westin Cape Town Hotel in accordance with Marriott International Policies and Procedures within a pressurized environment.
**Requirements Experience & Qualifications**
- Recognized Hotel school / Marketing related qualification preferable.
- Professional disposition.
- Strong planning and administrative and organizing skills.
- Ability to work within a pressurized environment.
- Ability to use Initiative and be proactive and self-driven.
- Ability to work without supervision and within a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
- Customer service orientation essential.
- People centric with a strong focus on the guest experience.
- Well-groomed appearance and well as per company standards.
- Positive can do attitude & eager to learn new concepts and practices.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Passion for the travel & hospitality industry.
- Takes initiative and anticipates needs.
- Excellent internal and external communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Innovative, proactive and dependable.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide an operational and administrative support to the department as required.
- Prepare and administer Marketing related documents as required.
- Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
- Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
- Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.
- Perform other duties as and when required.
