**RCL Foods** is seeking a **Despatch Controller -**to join our **Rustenburg Baking site**. The role will be reporting into the **Distribution Manager.**

**Purpose of the role**

Responsible for the Despatch Department to deliver daily OTIF for Rustenburg bakery and its 2 Depots including bakeouts to the rest of the Sunbake network as a supply bakery.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Manage local feeders and route trucks to maintain 100% OTIF.
- Stock Management and rotation
- Coordinate loadings and departures for feeders to sister bakeries.
- Crate Management to ensure optimum production time.
- Seamless and flexible shift patterns in line with legislation and minimize overtime
- Manage a pool of Shunter Drivers, Dispatch Supervisors, Receiving Clerks and Loaders
- Seamless and flexible shift patterns in line with legislation and minimize overtime.
- Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly rooster and prepare timesheets for payroll
- Responsible for leading and guiding a team of despatch people.
- Determine loading and departures for feeders to sister bakeries
- Will be required to work some weekends

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric
- Post matric qualification in Supply Chain or related field
- Computer literacy proficiency
- Minimum 5 yrs exp in a dispatch, logistics and distribution environment
- Supervisory experience
