**Internal Sales Assistant**

During the first 6 months of your employment, you will be afforded the opportunity to gain valuable technical exposure on ABB Products via e learning on ABB University online portal. You will familiarise yourself with the Systems and processes and contribute your abilities towards the Department’s sales target.

You will report directly to the Sales Manager.

**Outline of Responsibilities**:
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Compile Quotations for products, and materials, for Customers on behalf of Sales Rep’s and make appointments on behalf of the sales representatives
- Understanding customer needs and requirements by profiling each customer,
- Sourcing and procuring of equipment and materials negotiating for best pricing, updating supply chain index
- Follow up of quotations, purchases and deliveries,
- Counter Sales and telesales, development of customer relationships and agreements,
- Route all qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure,
- Maintain supply chain relationship with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Issuing of invoices and receipts for sales, following up on delayed payments,
- Reporting on Sales performance,
- Self-learning on products inclusive of attending product training
- Road Shows and presentations to customers,
- Support the sales and marketing team efforts on a continued basis,
- Assist with the development of new or junior sales personnel,
- Liaise with the stores and assess stock holding availability for customers on a regular basis
- Assist with Monthly stock take and audits on stock holdings,
- Updating of the sales quotations and orders index.
- Matric
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a sale’s administrative environment
- working knowledge on pastel would be beneficial
- Competent on all MS Office programs especially excel

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R10,500.00 per month

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (preferred)
