**AMET Physician or Anesthesiologist**

Location: Afghanistan (Applicants must be able to travel to the work location)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Evacuation of patients according to global air ambulance practices and procedures
- Stabilize patients during an aeromedical evacuation
- Report to the Medical Emergency Coordinator during the evacuation process
- Deployment to support hospitals on an as-needed basis
- Configure and equip in 30 minutes or less to provide in-flight medical care
- Foster relationships with local hospitals for the receiving of evacuated patients and onward movement and care

**Qualifications**:

- Full and most updated resume/CV
- Valid Passport
- University Medical degree and post graduate residency experience practicing medicine
- Specialty Diploma in Anesthesiology or Critical Care
- Minimum of 3 years in emergency medicine or equivalent field post specialization
- A current internationally recognized registered license to practice
- ATLS or equivalent training and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life support)
- Experience in providing treatment under night flying conditions and with medical equipment compatible with NVG (Night Vision Goggles)
- NVG (Night Vision Goggles) Certificate
- Training in Aviation Medicine (minimum 1 week)
- Proof of flight experience (flight logs or logbooks and recommendation letters)
- Must be able to communicate and speak in English

**Additional Information**
- Contract Duration: 3 to 4 months
- Location: Afghanistan
- Start date: Immediately (Applicants must be able to start on a short notice)_
