Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary

The following positions are available at Melomed Private Clinic:
**ENROLLED NURSING AUXILIARY - LIFE SKILLS**

**Requirements**:

- Current Registration with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary
- Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience as an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary
- Previous experience in a Private Healthcare setting
- Proven experience in a Life Skills or Mental Health Facility

**Key Outputs**:

- Strong quality patient care orientation
- BLS competent
- Ability to monitor vital signs, identify the abnormalities and report to the EN and/or RN
- Competently administering oral medication
- Competent in physical assessment
- Provide health education to parents and patients
- High energy levels and tolerance for stress/pressure
- Focus on quality patient care and accompany stable patients to procedures and interventions
- Assist with setting and preparing for procedures and interventions
- Assist with patient care, pressure care, catheter care and feeding
- Problem analysis/solving skills and accurate record keeping
- Adaptable and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Ability to render basic nursing care under supervision
- Shift work compulsory
- Ad hoc duties
