Hair Stylist

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform a wide range of hair treatments and styles for both Ethnic and Caucasian clients, including cutting, coloring, styling, and extensions.
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and provide professional recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and in good working condition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Upsell salon products and services to clients, maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with the salon team to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to salon policies and procedures, including punctuality and professional appearance.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, specializing in both Ethnic and Caucasian hair treatments and styles.
- In-depth knowledge of various hair types, textures, and styling techniques.
- Proficiency in cutting, coloring, styling, and extensions for both Ethnic and Caucasian hair.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other salon professionals.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to handle multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid hairdressing certification or license.
- Previous experience in an upmarket salon is preferred.

Compensation:

- Basic salary: R12,000 per month.
- Commission structure based on performance.
