Our client is looking to onboard a Data Scientist who will be the technical lead for driving continuous reporting improvements for the Group. You need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

- Bachelor of Science degree/Computer Engineering/IT or relevant degree or Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Data Scientist or Business Intelligence Analyst, with experience building complex analytical models leveraging structured and/or unstructured data
- Must be able to code well, not just have a knowledge of programming languages
- Working knowledge of Qlik Sense
- Qlik n Printing
- Experience using statistical computer languages R, Python, SQL, Spark etc
- Strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods
- Using a variety of data tools, building, and implementing models, using/creating algorithms, and creating/running simulations and data visualisation
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, k-NN, Naïve Bayes and artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
