Software Development Manager

Enbaya Prepaid Meters, based in Fairlands, Johannesburg is a leader in the Prepaid Meter business. We are looking for a suitably qualified Software Development Manager with excellent project and leadership skills.

Previous experience in this role is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the software development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Oversee the end-to-end software development life cycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, scope, and timelines.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
- Implement and maintain best practices in software development, coding standards, and quality assurance.
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

- Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of priorities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within software development.
- Strong technical background with expertise in relevant technologies/frameworks.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.
