**Skills and Experience**:
**What you’ll do**:

- Advises on a variety of legal issues and legal risks
- Draft, review, edit, interpret, advise and negotiate on contracts, bids and other legal documents
- Oversee contractual obligations of the company
- Provide technically sound legal opinions
- Manage litigation
- Research and report on unique legal issues impacting the business
- Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the business
- Communicate and serve as a liaison for external parties including external counsel, public authorities, and union representatives
- Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders
- Maintain professional and timely communications
- Document and maintain legal files and issues
- Reporting

**Your expertise**:

- Minimum 2 years post admission legal experience
- Commercial law experience
- Experience in ensuring compliance with municipal laws
- Experience in reviewing bids/contracts with private and government entities
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent writing and reviewing (edits) skills
- Ability to work well within a team and individually
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Honesty, decisiveness and integrity
- The ability to solve problems
- Discretion, diplomacy and tact
- Works well under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

**Qualifications**:

- Matric / Grade 12
- Degree in Law
- Admitted Attorney
