**_Wits HE2RO seeks a dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Project Manager to be part of their health economics and epidemiology research and implementation science portfolio_**:

- **_The successful applicant will serve as the Project Manager for the evaluation of the Central Chronic Medicines Dispensing and Distribution (CCMDD) Program in South Africa_**:

- **_The position is based at HE2RO's head office in Johannesburg but may require travel within different provinces of South Africa_**:

- **_This is a fixed-term position for six (6) months_**

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Support the project lifecycle management, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines
- Review and implement strategic project documents in collaboration with the project leads and team members
- Monitor and track project progress, troubleshooting any issues with support from the project leads
- Assist project leads in fulfilling the HE2RO's secretariat role for the Steering Committee
- Develop and maintain tools, templates, and best practice documents as required for project implementation, including project repositories and calendars
- Attend team meetings, providing feedback to working groups as necessary
- Assist in preparing and presenting project reports, progress updates, and evaluations to stakeholders
- Perform other tasks and contribute to organizational management as needed

**Requirements**:

- **Diploma/Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required**:

- **Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a similar industry**:

- **Strong knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and tools**:

- **Fluent in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports**:

- **Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and building effective relationships**:

- **Interest in social science, public health, and/or medical research**:

- **Proficiency in conducting research and analyzing data to support project decision-making**:

- **Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks**:

- **Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines**:

- **Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements**:

- **Ability to travel, including overnight trips**:

- **Code 8 Drivers License and willingness to drive**:
