We are looking for a BAKER to present and prepare pastries for our ever-growing business in the FMCG sector.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Experience as a Chef/Baker (preparing both pastries and cooked meals essentials)
- Driver’s License & Own Reliable Transport
- Trustworthiness and Honesty
- Food technology
- Knowledge on operating machinery and maintaining it
- Creativity
- Background of working in a "HUB"/Factory
**Duties will include but not be limited to**:
- Food preparation of Muffins, Pies, Croissant, etc
- Calculate costings
- Recipe development
- Operating and maintaining machinery
- Cooking, grilling, baking - hot & cold sections
- Purchasing & budgeting
- Cleaning Equipment used at end of day
- Keeping the workplace, kitchen equipment and appliances clean
- Instructs and supervises subordinates in preparation of baked items
- Following health and safety regulations
- Lead the baking department with success by taking ownership of all things related to baking, and maintaining an organized and efficient process for regular operations.
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
