**Descriptions**:

- Develop and improve systems and processes ensuring the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to grow the business and improve performance.
- Use all resources to optimise capacity and cost management.
- Review and create procedures and processes for a more efficient and productive Packhouse.
- Implement interventions to improve financial management and profitability.
- Develop expansion plans, programs, and budgets to management and control the day-to-day running of the Packhouse.
- Implement Strategic Project Management principles to achieve short-term and long-term goals.
- Budget and implement financial control of the Packhouse as a separate entity of business.
- Ensure finance policy & procedures are complied with in all packhouses in area of responsibility.
- Review monthly operational costs compared to plan and introduce measures to stay within budget.
- Establishing performance management systems and tools to measure Productivity.
- Reviewing daily, monthly and annual performance of the packing facility to ensure long term goals and objectives are met to ensure sustainability of the company.
- Optimising overall service delivery and quality management.
- Overseeing the insurance of a safe, efficient and productive operations
- Strategic Alignment with all stakeholders.
- Solidify Stakeholder and Client relations.
- An effective service delivery to all customers.
- Good communications between all role-players.
- Survey stakeholders to for feedback.
- Establishing Packhouse roles focusing on developing talent.
- Performance Management - measure and review performance with managers against set objectives quarterly and annually.
- Implementing a strong middle to lower management structure.
- Identifying future supervisors and managers, invest in training and development initiatives.
- Implementing and managing a performance evaluation plan, assisting managers with goals and focus areas.

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Business Management or a related discipline.
- 10 to 15 years’ experience in a strategic and general management role or a similar role.
- Experience in a Senior management role in the agricultural environment will be an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge of the Citrus industry will be an advantage.
- Have strong leadership and people management skills presenting a strong record of achievement through building high performing teams.
- Be Results orientated.
- Manage Stakeholder engagement.
- Work towards a positive attitude with high energy levels and strong motivational skills.
- Be a strong decision maker with excellent grasp of both the short and long-term macro / micro issues of business, operations (production/ supply chain) and employee relations interaction.
- Implement multi-level negotiating skills and communication strategies.
- Able to work in a highly innovative and collaborative space.
- Plan and execute in a structured manner.
