**Job Advert Summary**:
Helloan exciting new opportunity has just become available in our **Insure, Operations area.** We are looking to recruit a **Stolen Vehicle Recoveries Consultant (Motor).**

**Role Objectives**:
To source new, used and alternative vehicle parts for the Hollard Group in order to reduce the cost of these inputs in the repair process. Monitor and manage parts delays and disruptions. Liaise with business units, negotiate with parts suppliers and stakeholders. Monitor assessor’s costs and compliance and perform ad hoc duties where necessary.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Use Unicode as a central database to register all Hollard stolen/hijacked vehicles
- Improve the effective level of fraud detention
- Sound risk management and quality principles
- Compliance with relevant legal requirements, industry regulations, internal policies and procedures.
- Act within agreed mandate, Market and industry knowledge, Know and understand internal and external customers
- Communicate and liaise with internal and external providers, telephonically verbally and in writing in a professional manner
- Supply feedback to service providers, clients and other department involved on all claims being handled and ensure that quality and customer experience is maximised for customer feedback
- Communicate, solve, and escalate clients concerns and supply feedback to all relevant business and external stakeholders
- Participate in key initiatives within and outside the organisation
- Participate during operational initiatives with stake holders to protect Hollard’s interest
- Provide support to the team and other stake holders with specific focus to the SA Police with the identification of stolen vehicle
- Participate during operational initiatives with stake holders to protect Hollard’s interest
- Identify trends, modus operandi with the theft of stolen/hijacked vehicles
- Identify cross carries organised crime impacting the insurance industry
- Investigate vehicle theft/hijacking and recoveries.
- Confirm and acknowledge the upliftment allocation within 4 hours
- Assist the police with the upliftment of Hollard vehicles
- Assist the upliftment agent with the identification of Hollard vehicles.
- Assist clients with the identification
- Uplift vehicles within 2 working days
- Provide the police with the required documents to uplift
- Assist the police with cross border recoveries to secure a successful repatriation
- Attend court and provide evidence
- Provide feedback to the internal customer not exceeding 48 hours, bond maintained in 48 hours turnaround of 20 days
- Participate in all pound clean-up initiatives
- Comply with KPI’s, SLA’s, Internal and External, Procurement agreements with service providers
- Ensure agents submit a police clearance, microdot certificate (where applicable) when they submit invoices
- Audit and authorise the payment of agent invoices before they are submitted for payment
- Follow up on the payment of outstanding invoices
- Update systems with notes when the upliftment status change
- Compile reports to ensure analysis of performance with trends statistics
- Maintain relationships with internal team and SVR Consultants
- Build meaningful relationships with the entire supply chain, internally and externally
- Liaison with Binder Brokers, Branches, and Internal Claims Departments
- Perform investigation when required on, Stolen/Hijacked vehicles, Recovered vehicle, Tampered vehicles, Cloned vehicles
- Appoint accredited and authorised service providers to act on behalf of Hollard with the release of vehicles from the pounds.
- Manage and maintain the end-to-end process with the upliftment and release of vehicles from the police pounds.

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in vehicle recoveries.
- At least 5 years’ experience within the short-term insurance industry related to:

- claims handling,
- salvage processing and disposal
- Experience related to the Natis system with regards to registration and deregistration, police system with regards to circulation, cancellation, and police clearances.
- Intermediate word processing skills using Microsoft Word, Outlook and excel.
- Report writing

**Educational Requirements**:

- Matric / NQF 4 Matric / NQF 4
- Driver’s license
- FAIS compliant
