Junior Draughtsman

- Assist in creating technical drawings and plans based on sketches, specifications, and instructions from engineers or architect
- ⁠Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce 2D and 3D drawings
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings
- Revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project requirements
- Maintain organised records of drawings and revisions
- Assist in preparing documentation and presentations for project meetings
- Follow industry standards and best practices for drafting and design
- ⁠Adhere to project deadlines and priorities set by supervisors
- Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in drafting and design.

**Qualifications**:  
- General computer skills on Excel, Word and Office.
- Technical drawings on CAD and Autodesk Inventor.
- Good communication and people’s skills.
- Detailed orientated and technically minded.
- Detail designing and compilation of complete manufacturing drawings.
- Technical support to walk-in clients and manufacturing teams.
- Cost estimations of old and new designs.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Work on weekends if required.
- Previous experience in engineering industry will be an advantage.
- Own transport
- Proficiency in Afrikaans and English
