Our client in the fruit exports industry is looking for a Logistics professional to join their team.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Manage and coordinate the logistics department from buying to delivery
- Manage and allocate dispatches according to supply and demand program
- Handle and follow up Export documentation
- Arrange logistics procedures
- Generate marketing volume reports
- Summarise and communicate weekly plan to relevant parties
- Check and approve invoices
- Negotiating and maintaining relationships with Shipping Lines
- Negotiate daily with forwarding agents
- Negotiate daily with cold rooms
- Vessel planning & stock management
- Export Documentation (Addendums/Packing Lists)
- Weekly/Seasonal Reporting
- Pack house activities (Labelling)
- System Expert/ Knowledge of packed volumes
- Booking instruction to Shipping lines
- Booking reference
- Steri Market Arrangements and protocols (Special Markets)
- Stocks allocation
- Daily stack dates
- Liaise with packing facilities
- Packing lists to clients
- Communicate changes of ETA’s to clients
- Update sailing schedule / shipments on a weekly basis
- Ad-hoc queries
- Handle all logístical queries from suppliers and clients

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric with relevant tertiary education
- 5 years’ experience in the Fruit Export environment
- System knowledge and experience of logistic export systems
- Strong Computer Skills (Excel advanced; MS office)
- Valid driver’s license
- Own transport

**Starting date**: As soon as possible

**Salary**: Market related
