MISSION

PRODUCT LINE MANAGER

To lead, manage and direct the Product Line to facilitate and ensure (1) sustainability and (2) growth.

Establish a sound business relationship with each direct report
Provide commercial guidance to team and indvidual members, as and when required
Provide technical guidance to team and individual mebers, as and when required
Motivate team to achieve the required business objectives
Regular (as required) interaction with team to ensure efficiency within the context of the greater organisation
Regular (as required) interaction with team to ensure work output meets the relevant quality and timing criteria
Management Team interaction
Active participation in meetings and forums
Accurate reporting (formal and informal) as and when required to ensure that the Management Team has current information for decision-making
Build strong (and direct, where applicable) customer relations through open communication and service delivery
Efficient interfacing with internal Sales and Marketing teams to ensure that all possible opportunities are appropriately addressed
Overview of CRM System inputs to ensure info remains current and accurate
Overview of all tendering within the Product Line to ensure that pricing is accurate and risks are appropriately addressed

Business Sustainability

Actively participate in the annual Budgeting process (where applicable)
Monitor the OI progress against Budget on a monthly basis and provide feedback of any deviations to Management Team
Participate in the monthly Project Review meetings with the focus on (but not limited to) Safety, Customer relationship, Cash Flow, GP, Scope deviations and programme.

Safety, Health Environment

Regular interface with SHE Department to ensure that all the relavant appointments within the Product Line is up to date
Constant communication of Zero Harm principles to all team members within the Product Line
Leading by example with all matters relating to SHE

Quality Insurance

Communicate and practice the principles of Customer Service, both internally and externally
Through the active management of the Product Line, ensure that all relevant business processes and procedures are adhered to
Drive the continuous improvement of business processes procedures to achieve a more efficient business output

TECHNICAL SKILL ACTIVITY

Interdependence

Ensure Team and Management is aligned with Tender and Project stategy to ensure no delays to planned progress.
Ensure all business communication and corresponence is saved in the dedicated file directories.
Productivity

Tasks should be planned and completed within the time frame allowed.

Mutually accountable

Responsibilites of every instruction and task should be well defined, however when theres accountablity required, the team should mutually adress this and implement changes to eliminate future issues.

1. Achieving of Revenue for Product Line as per Annual Budget
2. Achieving of Gross Profit for Product Line as per Annual Budget
3. Achieving of EBITDA for Product Line as per Annual Budget
4. LTIFR = 0 for all operations within the Product Line
5. Achieving/maintaining ISO Quality Assurance Certification within Product Line (ie no Audit Findings in Product Line that leads to degrading of TRSA)
