Rf Technician

**RF Technician opportunity**

One of our clients is looking for RF Technicians. The successful incumbent will be expected to deliver on the following:

- Installing new equipment and repairing existing equipment, such as antennas and transmitters, to ensure proper functioning
- Installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment such as antennas and towers
- Inspecting towers for structural defects and performing repairs when necessary
- Installing radio frequency equipment such as antennas, amplifiers, and transmitters
- Installing and maintaining equipment used to transmit or receive signals such as satellite dishes, boosters, repeaters, modems, or transmitters
- Testing equipment to ensure proper functioning and troubleshooting problems with existing equipment
- Installing and maintaining radio frequency equipment such as mobile phones, walkie talkies, and radio towers
- Installing telecommunications equipment such as cables and wiring in homes or businesses

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Computer Literate
- Valid driver’s license and
- Defensive driving
- Medicals/ First Aid and Fire fighter certificates
- Risk assessor (HIRA)
- Site Clearance/Routers & Switches
- Solar Panel, Batteries and Rectifier
- RF/Microwave Basics
- Fibre optic reticulation
- Working at Heights
- Power AC + DC
- Wi-Fi Technology knowledge

Contract length: 6 months
