We are currently seeking a semi
- skilled Carpenter to join our team. The Semi-Skilled Carpenter will support the manufacturing process at the carpentry factory by assisting skilled carpenters in various tasks. They will perform basic carpentry duties under supervision and contribute to the production of high-quality wood products. Often our projects run through nights and weekends, so a flexible schedule is required.

**REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Valid driver’s license & own reliable transportation.
- Computer literate.
- Own cell phone.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Carpentry qualification at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred.
- Basic understanding of carpentry principles and techniques.
- Good physical health, stamina, and dexterity

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**1. Material Handling and Preparation**:

- Assist in selecting and preparing wood materials for projects, including cutting, and shaping.
- Transport materials to workstations and assist with loading and unloading machinery.
- Follow safety protocols for handling and storing wood materials.

**2. Assembly Assistance**:

- Assist skilled carpenters in assembling wood components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Hold and position materials during assembly and fastening processes.
- Learn and practice basic joinery techniques under supervision.

**3. Finishing Support**:

- Sand surfaces and remove imperfections to prepare for finishing.

**4. Machine Operation**:

- Receive training in the safe operation of woodworking machinery and tools.
- Operate machinery under supervision to perform basic cutting, shaping, or drilling tasks.
- Follow instructions and guidelines for machine setup and operation.

**5. Quality Assurance**:

- Assist in inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Identify defects or imperfections and report them to supervisors.

**6. Workspace Maintenance**:

- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from debris.
- Assist in maintaining and cleaning woodworking tools and equipment.
- Dispose of waste materials and scrap wood in designated areas.

**7. Learning and Development**:

- Participate in training programs to develop carpentry skills and knowledge.
- Seek opportunities to learn from skilled carpenters and gain hands-on experience.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve job performance.

Pay: R8 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
