Appliance Service Technician

A well-established organisation in Montana, Pretoria is seeking an Appliance Service Technician to join their team. Salary will be discussed in the interview.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Must have a proven track record of Appliance repairs & installations
- Proven work experience as an Appliance Service Technician or similar role
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years experience & knowledge of appliance repair, installations & repairs
- Must have your own vehicle & valid drivers’ license
- Ability to do Laser TV installations is necessary
- Be willing to travel as they cover the whole Gauteng area
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Manual dexterity & physical stamina
- Must have a matric certificate or equivalent
- Have a clean criminal record

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Examining customers’ appliances and identifying the cause of appliance breakdowns
- Performing maintenance work on customers’ appliances
- Providing rough estimates to customers regarding the damaged or malfunctioning appliances
- Help their clients with their appliance repairs and Installations.
- An Appliance Service Technician’s responsibilities include responding quickly and efficiently to client requests. In addition, you will be responsible for installing new appliances and fixing any issues during installation or maintenance work.
- Ultimately, you will work directly with customers to help diagnose, test and repair appliances as needed
- Install, service and repair various household appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers and air conditioning units
- Swiftly respond to customer calls regarding issues or malfunctions
- Evaluate and troubleshoot problems
- Provide repair options, and timeframes to customers, taking into account any product warranties
- Complete Job Cards paperwork, and assure customer signs Job card
