**Role purpose**:
Support the commercial management of contracts for large strategic customers. Manage all of the company's commercial obligations in the contract. Communicate any necessary price change - due to the outcome of benchmarking and/or review - to the customer. Regular reporting of customer account performance from start of contract and clearly highlighting key concerns with mitigating actions.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
Build deep relationship with customers/stakeholders and meeting/ managing their expectations of top in-life accounts
Accountable for the overall commercial management and profitability optimization of named customer accounts. This includes managing the P&L of the customer and lead its delivery by actively managing all costs & revenues to deliver and exceed the P&L and revenue targets.
Regular reporting on customer network performance to identify pro-active measures for improvements
Identify and process SLA network credits and/or penalties on process deficiencies
Provide support and guidance for data analysis activities to confirm usage profiles, contractual changes and spend baselines e.g. charge reviews; benchmarking; savings analysis
Use of complex commercial models capable of scenario modelling to identify and impact assess contractual risks and issues
Regularly provide ‘line of sight’ back to management and customer business cases (as necessary) to reconcile expected and actual commercial outcomes.
Support commercial in creating complete and competitive commercial solutions to create competitive advantage
Identify and rectify any process and governance deficiencies to ensure operational integrity within the R2C Delivery function e.g. creating process efficiencies from network solutions/designs, to pricing, to products/projects deployment, to customer orders and billing.
Provide insight into the bid and pricing processes to facilitate continuous improvement actions to deliver business decisions.
Ability to perform deal negotiations, contract development & change management, to ensure the delivery of all contractual obligations and incremental revenue across base of defined accounts
Contract Management and Proposals
Constructing customer facing presentations and running customer calls
Acting as technical resource for junior colleagues

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:
Matric (Essential)
Degree or three-year Diploma with 8+ years’ experience in B2B / enterprise environment or Commercial / Sales Support/Network Design & Solutions/Reporting field
Background in data analysis and developing customer models is a huge advantage
Experience in sales, commercial and/or contract management is huge advantage
Customer management, change/problem /incident management or project coordination experience is a plus

Excellent problem-solving skills
Proactive attitude with continuous improvements
Good MS Office knowledge especially in Excel
Excellent relationship builder, with the necessary personal impact to build credibility with customers
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal at Executive-level
Strong people skills and demonstrable ability to deliver though others who are not ‘Direct Reports’
Proven commercial acumen, including experience in managing & improving P+L’s
