Our client in the Motor industry is looking for a Head of Collections.

The Head of Collections will lead and optimize collections strategies, including debit order payments. This role involves managing a team of debt collections agents and a team leader to ensure timely payments from customers and improve collections efficiency.

The successful incumbent will be able to do the following:

- Develop and implement comprehensive collections strategies, including debit order payment strategy, to maximize collections effectiveness and minimize outstanding debts.
- Optimize payment methods and collections processes to enhance efficiency and reduce overdue accounts.
- Lead and manage a high-performing collections team to achieve collections targets and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement in collections practices and results through data-driven insights and process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in collections activities.

Skills/Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in collections management or related role, preferably in the vehicle rent-to-buy industry.
- Strong understanding of collections strategies, payment methods, and collections software/tools.
- Experience in leading and managing teams, including team leaders and collections agents.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improve collections outcomes.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in collections and in SA

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: R70 000,00 - R80 000,00 per month

**Experience**:

- Draughtsman: 5 years (preferred)
