Swartland area - Our client is looking for an experienced Blueberry Grower/ Farm Manager to join the team.
**Responsibilities**:
- 35Ha blueberry project
- Manage 35 permanent staff and 400 seasonal workers.
- Strong understanding of the employment act.
- Must be able to lead in a multicultural environment
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of management reports and European marketing standards will be an advantage.
**Qualifications & Competencies**
- Degree or diploma in Horticulture/Agronomy.
- 5 years of farm management experience preferably in blueberries.
- Computer literate /Technology driven.
- Mechanically orientated.
- Ability to motivate and work with staff.
- Understand the processes and procedures of “United Export Fruit”.
- Global Gap Experience regarding growing and packing.
**Remuneration**:
- Above industry basic salary is dependent on experience.
