Storeman/line Feeder

We are looking to hire a **Storeman/Linfeeder** to join our company in Techno Park, Stellenbosch.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Confirm and check the material to the primary holding store.
- Confirmed that the received parts correspond to the supplied documentation.
- Check that material is transferred to the correct store.
- Check that material quantities correspond to the relevant documentation.
- Update store records and bin cards accurately.
- Keep store-area neat and tidy.
- Transfer material between stores and feed the production line as required.
- Update line manager daily.
- Maintain effective stock control.
- Administer as paperwork and delivery noted as per defined procedures.
- Regular meetings with superiors to report on stock levels and identify challenges.
- Stock level maintenance: receiving as dispatching of stock.
- Ensure all stock is accounted for.
- Prepare daily stock requirements timeously.
- Ensure that minimum stock thresholds are maintained at all times, with notifications accordingly.
- Assist with annual and cyclical stock takes undertaken.
**Specific Requirements**:

- Person must be able to move bulky items between stores with trolleys.
- Must be able to collect/deliver goods, using company transport.
- Own reliable transport required.
**Education**: Minimum Grade 12 (Matric)

**Experience**: Previous experience in a stores/warehouse environment, associated with production activity.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Understanding store stock control and principles.
- Understanding of requirements for proper store layout, to ensure near and efficient material placement/movement and accountability.
