**Construction works that are**:
a) are primarily concerned with the development, extension, installation, renewal, renovation, alteration, or dismantling of a permanent shelter for its occupants or contents; or

b) cannot be categorized in terms of the definitions provided for civil engineering works, electrical engineering works, mechanical engineering works, or specialist works.

The Basic Work Type examples for Construction work include but are not limited to building works for domestic, institutional or commercial occupancies. Furthermore, the following items will be covered but not limited to (the list is not exhaustive):

- Alterations
- Earthworks
- Masonry, Plasterwork, Paintwork
- Roof Covering, Roof flashings, gutters
- Floor Covering
- Carpentry and tiling
- Ceilings
- Partitions
- Ironmongery and Metalwork
- Glazing
- External works
- Stores
- Car ports
- Walls, etc

**Experience**:

- Construction work: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Degree, Diploma or Trade Certificate (required)
