**_Position: Chief Surveyor - Mining_**

**Purpose of the Position**:
Managing and controlling the survey function according to sound surveying practice and legislation to meet operational requirements and objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Government Mine Surveyors Certificate of Competence
- National Diploma Mine Surveying
- Advance Mine Survey Certificate will be an advantage.
- Management Certificate/ Diploma

**Experience**:

- 5 Years plus in a mining environment at middle management level.
- 4 Years plus experience in a management/supervisory role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Management of Operations and Strategy in the Mining Division ensuring efficiency and competitive production.
- Legislation and Regulatory Compliance related to Laws, Policies and Procedure.
- Budgeting & Management of Financial Resources including planning, management, and controlling of financial resources.
- Leading and Management of Human Resources.
- Recording and Reporting of Management.
