**Qualifications**:
Grade 12 or equivalent
**Experience**:
- 2 year demonstrated hands on experience in a production environment
- 1 year demonstrated experience in a production plant
**Advantageous**:
- 1 year demonstrated experience in explosives production
**Duties**:
- Must be competent in offloading raw material tankers using pumps and the loading of tankers from the silo platforms.
- Reports to the Dryden Process Controller and performs duties as directed.
- Fulfil stand-in duty for the Dryden Assistant process controller during meal breaks and while on leave.
- Must be competent in the monitoring and shut down of the system during upset conditions.
- Must be competent in controlling the Emulsion making and batch preparation process via the PLC.
- Good practices of housekeeping timeously.
- Must be able to fulfil the duties of operating a forklift for loading, offloading trucks and for batch preparation purpose.
- Perform quality control testing of raw materials and products.
