- Job Description
- Conduct safety meetings and Risk Assessments
- Reporting on safety and deviations and record results of all legal examinations
- Achievement of safe production performance levels through the effective maintenance, installation and commissioning of equipment
- Manage breakdowns and emergencies as well as Planned Maintenance
- Ensure that material, spares and equipment are available as required and job cards are fully completed
- Supervision of external service providers and internal Engineering Assistants
- On the job training and coaching for our trainee artisans

**This role is in the Engineering department at a C2 level and reports into the Senior Electrician FLM**
- Qualifications
- Grade 12 and Technical Trade Specific N2
- Electrician Trade Certificate
- Medium Voltage Certificate / Training would be an advantage.
- Experience with Variable Speed Drives and Simocodes will be an advantage.

**Some additional requirements will include**:

- English literacy - speak, read and write.
- Must be able to do standby, overtime and shift work.
- Must be familiar with risk assessments procedures
- Valid code 08 driver's license, your own vehicle would be an advantage.
- Basic computer literacy

If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Test.
