**PURPOSE**:
Effectively manage inventory on site, including liaising with production to ensure that there is always correct and enough stock to meet demand requirements, including quality management.

Employees might be required to perform duties that are not listed in this profile.

**DUTIES**:
1. Effectively Order stock

2. Effectively Negotiate prices

3. Effectively oversee ordered stock from suppliers

4. Effectively Capture received stock on system

5. Effectively transfer stock between cost centers

6. Effectively Perform weekly and monthly stock take

7. Effectively Maintain first aid and firefighting equipment at the stores

8. Effectively Oversee Housekeeping and safe stacking and storage

9. Effectively manage the transformation area as per group requirements

10. Effectively ensure safety of the working environment within area of responsibility in line with ISO 45001 and 9001

11. Effective People Management (Manning)

**COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS**:

- Knowledge of manufacturing
- Knowledge of Sage
- Microsoft Office system
- Knowledge of ERP systems, specifically materials management and production planning
- Experience with ISO 45001 and 9001 standards
- Knowledge of crate design and manufacturing
- Knowledge of timber types and sizes

**Qualification**:

- National diploma in Inventory and/ or Cost and Management related field

**Experience**: 2 - 5 years’ experience in an Inventory control role.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Middelburg, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)

**Experience**:

- Inventory Control in Manufacturing industry: 2 years (required)
