he mid-weight Copywriter, paired with a Art Director, will work closely with the Creative Directors and Strategy leads to help push the creative output for existing clients and on new business opportunities. This is a hybrid role, with in-office attendance at either our JHB or CPT offices required twice a week.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Ideate creative business solutions
- Drive creative excellence by counter-balancing business objectives and strategic direction with robust imagination. Our work spans video production, OOH, radio, social, digital, gaming, CRM, blogs and retail, as such you will be frequently challenged with something new.
- Along with this, you’ll be expected to drive and deliver proactive thinking.

**Craft Language**
- Conceptual ability aside, you need to be a strong writer. You will be responsible for linguistic excellence, ensuring no work is presented with spelling or grammatical errors. You need to understand flexibility of voice and to how to write for varying brand tonalities, audiences, and platforms.

**Present Work**
- Being able to present work internally and externally with grace and gusto are qualities that we’re looking out for. There may be occasions where you would be required to present in person at client offices.

**Experience & Qualifications**

A degree qualification in Copywriting/English from an accredited and recognised tertiary institute.

Minimum 8 years of agency experience, in globally affiliated agencies. This is non-negotiable.

Have at least 5 years of proven experience in the regulated (alcohol, tobacco, gambling) and financial industries.

Have a solid portfolio that showcases conceptual abilities as a primary creative on a campaign, with the ability to execute for traditional and digital formats.

UX writing and SEO knowledge would be advantageous.

Be a self-starter, darned reliable and a team player.

Ability to proofread your own work is a must.
