We are hiring an
- **Export Officer** that will be based in our Somerset West office. You will report directly to the Export Manager. The Export Officer plays a pivotal role to ensure the traceability and documentary compliance check for each organic consignment being sold or exported, in particular to the EU and USA.**Your tasks**
You will be responsible to carry out the following duties:
- Cross-checking documents to validate traceability and accuracy
- Assessing the compliance based on scheme (EU and NOP) requirements
- Issue and send the approved TC/COI to the clients within a strict 3-day deadline
- Update internal records on all platforms
- Working proactively, along with other departments, ensuring clients and internal staff understand the process by means of guidelines and training.

**Profile**:

- Tertiary degree or diploma in Logistics, Education, or other relevant field
- Relevant job experience will be advantageous but is not a requirement
- High level of computer literacy - Confident MS Office user
- Excellent English and Afrikaans spoken and written competency with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Performs well under high-pressure situations
Attention to detail and deadline-orientated
Good communication skills
