Azure Administrator

Qualifications and experience required:

- Matric
- Cloud / Technical Support : 3 - 5 years
- Azure Administrator
- Azure Identity and Access Administrator
- Good command of English language

Experience / Skills:

- Ability and self-discipline to work as remote support to clients based in Capoe Town and Johannesburg.
- Enterprise level Infrastructure design and deployment experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Cloud computing.
- Advanced Backup and Disaster Recovery Experience (NB).
- Security Infrastructure deployment and management.
- Enterprise level VDI and Hypervisor experience.
- IPV6 Deployment experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Cloud computing.
- Experience with different Operating Systems.
- Strong experienceand expertise managing Microsoft Servers and Active Directory.
- Strong experience with creating, managing and deploying GPO's.
- Experience with Powershell and Automation.
- Strong Experience with network technologies such as firewalls and NSG's.
- Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities and processes.
- Working knowledge of help desk/incident management systems.
- Exceptionally strong phone etiquette.
- Exceptional English written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Effective listening skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ability to troubleshoot Cloud infrastructure related problems, software and operating system issues in a distributed software environment.
- Experience in customer facing Technical Support.
- Drive cases to resolution, while maintaining excellent communication with the customer.
- Fully manage the company and all clients Azure Infrastructure.
- Ensure that regular, accurate case notes are added to tickets.
- Utilise ticket management systems.
- Escalate relevant cases through the correct escalation paths.
- Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
- Follow all company policies and best practices such as accurate time tracking.
- Handle tickets assigned to you by your team leader.
- Initial problem diagnosis of the case as well as next-steps.
- Identify and discuss root cause of user technical issues.
- Correctly follow the processes and procedures set out for your team.
- Work together efficiently with onsite technicians to correctly diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- Respond to assigned tickets/tasks in accordance with Service Level Agreement guidelines.
- Always keep technical support documentation up-to-date.
- The working hours for this role is 08h00 - 17h00 as it will be supporting a customer base as well as operational requirements.
- Setup and manage servers from start to finish.

Remuneration: R25 000 - R30 000 per month (depending on experience)

Transport: Own Transport and driver's license essential.
