Service Ambassador

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create a good first impression and deliver quality service.
- Display a warm, courteous and friendly attitude towards all customers and fellow employees.
- Attend and acknowledge customers immediately.
- Advise customers on menu items and practice suggestive selling.
- Inform customers of any specials/promotions.
- Ensure the restaurant area is in a clean and neat condition at all times.
- Conduct cashier duties as allocated by management.
- Have complete knowledge of contents of each menu.
- Ensure that all food served is of high standard and of correct temperature.
- Set up tables according to company standard.
- Ensure all items used are clean and in good condition.
- Bid customers farewell and ensure to invite them back to your restaurant.
- Adhere to company money handling procedures.
- Ensure you provide customers with an accurate bill and change.
- All menu items must be rung up on the point of sale system.
- Report all complaints or compliments to the manager.
- Report any accidents, theft, loss or damage to the manager.
- Ensure your tables are clean at all times.
- Clear tables continuously with an acceptable balance in speed to allow customers to finish their meal without feeling rushed.
- Ensure sales targets are met as set out by management.
- Perform all duties with required speed and efficiency.
- Adhere to company rules and regulations.
- Wear the prescribed uniform and when on duty.
- To ensure the highest possible standard of personal hygiene.
- Be at work timeously daily.
- To help in any way at functions which may occur.
- To attend meetings, training and courses as stipulated by management.
- To assist others and relieve in their duties if equipped with knowledge and if required.
- To remove and collect refuse when and if required.
- Display a strong team player attitude and have patience with fellow employees.
- Adhere to the company rules and regulations at all times.
- Be attentive and anticipate customer needs.

**Salary**: From R25.42 per hour
