Livestock/horse/fly Fishing Position

Due to the accommodation on the farm this position would suit a mature couple or single person.

This is an **ENTRY LEVEL** position.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- At least 1-year previous farm/lodge management or field guide experience
- Relevant Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
- General farm management skills
- Experience in cattle management.
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Fit and strong and healthy - job requires physical work
- Able to ride a horse
- Strong management & communication skills
- Fly fishing experience an advantage
- Sober habits
- Must have excellent people skills to interact with guests
- Maintenance orientated - plumbing and electricity and general building an advantage.
- Valid code 8 driver’s license

**RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Guest liaison and host.
- Building maintenance and farm maintenance. General farm management duties. Maintain the roads, lawns and cut firewood.
- Manage the cattle, experience in cattle management an advantage.
- Exercise and take care of the horses. Take guests on outrides.
- Fly fishing guidance.
- Firebreaks.
- Farm watch
